Revolutionary Spaces is pleased to introduce Sensory-Friendly Mornings at the Old State House—special early open hours designed for visitors of all ages who benefit from a quieter, more supportive museum experience. With adjustments to lighting and sound, limited attendance, and hands-on activities, these mornings are ideal for people with sensory needs or those managing autoimmune or chronic illnesses, offering a welcoming way to explore Boston’s revolutionary past!

Admission is FREE for all visitors ages 18 and under and Revolutionary Spaces members. Adults tickets are $5. Members must present their digital membership cards upon arrival. On September 1, 2026, join Revolutionary Spaces for Collections, Conservation, and Material Memory, an event honoring longtime supporter Robert Severy and his sustained commitment to the organization's conservation efforts. We will gather in the Old State House Council Chamber for a presentation highlighting recently completed and ongoing conservation projects from the Revolutionary Spaces collection, made possible by Severy’s generous support. 

Please note that the Old State House is currently not accessible. There are six steps to enter the building and approximately 30 to 40 steps to access the Council Chamber on the second floor.
