General Admission: Old State House and Old South Meeting House

This ticket is good for entry at Revolutionary Spaces’ two historic sites: Old State House (206 Washington St.) and Old South Meeting House (310 Washington St.), and all exhibits, gallery talks, and tours available therein. Explore the Old State House, the seat of colonial and post-revolutionary power in Massachusetts, and the Old South Meeting House, the site where the meeting that led to the Boston Tea Party was held.


Revolutionary Spaces is open from 10am to 5pm daily unless otherwise noted. Hours are subject to change. Please check website for most up-to-date schedule.

Admission is FREE for all visitors ages 18 and under and Revolutionary Spaces members. Adults tickets are $5. Members must present their digital membership cards upon arrival. OLD SOUTH MEETING HOUSE: Built in 1729, the Old South Meeting House was the largest building in colonial Boston and the site of the most stirring mass meetings that led to the American Revolution, including the gathering that launched the Boston Tea Party.


OLD STATE HOUSE: Constructed in 1713, the Old State House was the center of royal government in the Massachusetts Bay colony and the focal point for many of the Revolution’s most dramatic events. It was here that the Boston Massacre occurred in 1770.


Today, these historic Freedom Trail sites and museums—located just two blocks from each other in the heart of downtown Boston—provide thought-provoking exhibits, compelling tours, exciting educational offerings, and engaging public programs.
